What does omnidirectional mean?

180 degree led light bulb Until now, "A" type LED light bulbs, although bright and energy saving, haven't provided the ultimate answer in every lighting application because of their directional characteristics. The LED bulb shown on the left illustrates expected light output. Not very much light is projected below the black line on the illustration. When used in translucent glass, you would experience a bit of a shadow below the line.

That problem has now been solved in the omni directional LED light bulb which produces a full 300 degree light output. Use the Omni bulbs in vanity lighting fixtures, pendants, table lamps, ceiling lights and chandeliers and experience the difference. And bright? Wow! Up to 2200 lumens, and of course, the Omni bulbs are dimmable. All of the pendants on the right are lit with them. And now we even have 3 way LED light bulbs!
