Night Vision Green, Red and IR Flashlights

The following are products that have Green LEDs that hunters and others in similar activities, whether for pleasure or work, can use to identify themselves and their position in a given area, or to locate each other when in doubt. It has been said that the green light will not interfere with the hunt, that animals are 'blind' or indifferent to green light.

The green LED is also a good night vision retention color that will allow you to distinguish colors such as yellow and red on a map or chart, and provide a great night light for walking or hiking yet not upset most animals. For the military, night vision equipment does not easily detect green light. Thus, more and more military personnel, hunters, and other similar consumers are switching to green LED as their choice of personal as well as duty light. This is evident by the increasing orders for green LED flashlights of every kind.

InfraRed LED Lights

Currently, we stock only one type of Infrared light that has a wavelength of 880nanometers. These are almost invisible lights that can only be viewed with the use of night vision equipment such as goggles, scopes, and infrared/night vision cameras. This is one example of infrared photo (thermal) application that shows the temperature of the flame and metal parts of a gas burner.
