This new LED is capable of taking 1000mA and generating 176 lumen! And it is rated for a full 50,000 hours. From technology improvements and knowledge gained, we have learned that the 5mm LEDs in clusters and strips run best with a regulated transformer and a PWM/pulse width modulator. Since a separate PWM is not possible as yet, we are requiring purchasers to obtain one of the 2 dimmers we offer as it already utilizes PWM as part of its properties/function. Together, the regulated transformer and dimmers will allow the 5mm LEDs in arrays or strings of 12 pieces or more, to live a longer life.

It takes time to sort out problems and have resolutions that will work for the long term. We hope that we have thought out the problem well enough from very angle and made the right decisions as to what will provide long life for all LED types. We hope that new and returning customers will take advantage of this change in approach to powering LEDs.

Therefore, we are turning to the high powered LEDs like the Cree XLamp 7090 XRE Chip type LED above, in 1 watt, 3 watt, 5 watt and 7 watt, and other formats to provide the type of lighting residential, office and commercial customers want and need. We are also looking at 9 watt and 10 watt high powered LED bulb to replace standard incandescent light bulbs. We know that high powered MR16 LED bulbs work well but they run on 12vDC. Our goal is to make high powered LED bulbs run great on 120/240vac! Look for new LED bulbs starting in mid March.

In an effort to make room for the new products, we are clearing the warehouse of old stock, dead stock, excess stock on products that are currently selling at regular prices, and items that we are placing on clearance. We will be running this "Tax Relief Sale" until the products on sale have been wiped out, drastically reduced in quantity. Many items will not discontinued but will still have a warranty if properly installed as we have instructed on each of the product's page. This means that a dimmer for any 12VDC product with 12 or more LEDs is to be purchased and installed.
