Hi LEDLighters!
June brings a bunch of new toys and tools for work and recreation. And just in time for summer, is the big hit/HOT product, the FlashFlight , an LED illuminated, fiber-optic lighted flying disc, AKA the "Frisbee". We also have a host of LED lights for those evening and night time activities which are always a part of summer. They're all great lights and worth reviewing.
Let's
start with a new Ultra Violet flashlight from Brilliant
Creations. This model is a 3 LED, 390nm UV flashlight in a great,
solid, standard 3AA body form which is easy to handle. Check out this
3 LED powerhouse priced at a very reasonable $45.00. The BC Ultra Violet
is the second most powerful UV LED package next to the X5
Ultra Violet. At 390nm wavelength, the BC UV flashlight is in the
right wave length range to observe most of the UV detectable objects quite
well without going into the more powerful and dangerous 370 nm range.
The 3 LEDs give you a wide beam pattern with more than adequate distance
for UV detection. Great for tracking blood, scorpions, bacteria and protein,
medical and law enforcement personnel, authenticating stamp collections,
adhesive curing, etc.
eternaLight
has introduced a new, low cost, entry level microprocessor flashlight,
the Derringer, and the top of the line Elite Max. The
Derringer has only 3 LEDs, one of which is a red LED designed
for low level light activity and also as a red flasher and a red/white
flasher. It is still a sophisticated flashlight in the tradition of all
eternaLights, yet is easy to operate. The Derringer is also the smallest
of the eternaLights at a mere 2.75" x 2.13" x .8".
The
eternaLight
Elite MAX continues with the Smart Series features with the addition
of a "power regulator" which controls battery current draw.
This extends the run time. Yet, it is brighter with a more powerful microprocessor,
has a 4 level battery indicator, Instant Momentary Overdrive and the popular
"NightBeacon" blue internal light. This model floats and is

PALight
Survivals with
white LEDs are now available with some great colored cases. Check the
brightly colored red, blue,
green and orange
cases! Christmas shopping can never start too soon! PALights also offer
a better Infrared
flashlight with the same magnifying lens as used in the Survivals. The
PAL 940nm Infrared has the same 4 modes as the other models and is available
with a black case only.
Streamlight
has greatly
expanded their super product line. Today, we proudly introduce to you
the LED flashlight lineup beginning with the ProPolymer Series. The models
here are white LED powered, yellow, green or black Polymer cased flashlights
with tailcap switches. The smallest is the 3N
LED with 3 LEDs run on 3 "N" size alkaline batteries.
Next in the series is the 4AA
LED with 7 brilliant white LEDs powered by 4 AA Alkalines. The
third model is the 3C
LED with 10 brilliant white LEDs powered by 3 C batteries. All
three models are CE, Canadian UL and UL listed for use in hazardous situations.
Also
from Streamlight is
the TwinTask, in stock the week of June 30th. These models are made with
brilliant white LEDs and a powerful Xenon bulb. The LEDs are the right
tool for close up tasks and battery conservation, and the high intensity
Xenon bulbs give you that blinding light capability when needed. TwinTask
Flashlights have adjustable focus! The models are:
TwinTask 3C with 6 brilliant white LEDs and a high intensity Xenon bulb; 3 LED or 6 LED or Xenon modes powered by 3 C Alkalines. Black anodized 6000 series aircraft aluminum case.
TwinTask 1L with 3 LEDs and a high intensity Xenon bulb; 3 LED or Xenon bulb mode; powered by 1 CR123A Lithium; black and silver anodized 6000 series aircraft aluminum case. Run time of 9 hours on 3 LEDs.
TwinTask 2L with 3 LEDs and a high intensity Xenon bulb; 3 LED or Xenon bulb mode; powered by 2 CR123A Lithium; black and silver anodized 6000 series aircraft aluminum case. Run time of 28 hours on 3 LEDs.
TwinTask 2D with 5 LED, 10 LED or Xenon modes, the LED 3AA Luxeon Task Light, the Tactical Light TL-2 and TL3 Luxeon LED flashlights with adjustable focus should be released within the next 4 to 6 weeks.

What is there to say?
