White LED Caps

The white LED caps will not be available from The LED Light until patent issues between certain companies are fully resolved, and that the caps can then be marketed without limitations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to anyone, but we feel that it would not be proper to sell a product that may prove to be without lawful approval or with limitations that would hinder the purchaser. Blue LED Filter Caps that will convert your 5mm blue LED into white, yellow, green and blue light with an unmatched consistency. Blue LEDs within the 465 to 480 nm range can be changed from blue to white, with the brightness being increased approximately 2.5 times (depending on visual sensitivity). With white LED, color deviation is reduced by 50% or more.

These filters or white silicon caps can be used to produce consistent shades of white light with no color degradation. They are also as heat resistant as the LED and can be used in permanent installations as well as being reused time and again. The light produced with the white cap is dispersed evenly at a wider angle than that of the LED itself. If your product or project requires consistent color from a white LED, these filters are for you!
