New Products - A new UL listed dimmable voltage LED driver

In stock, and replacing a larger, heavier dimmable magnetic transformer our new dimmable voltage LED driver is class 2 rated and designed to operate with any standard MLV/Incandescent TRIAC (Leading edge) dimmer switch. Encased in a low profile aluminum enclosure that includes 2 knock-outs to enable easy installation makes it the perfect choice for under cabinet lights, flexible LED strips, and various LED fixtures. Our electrical specification includes Auto Reset, over current and short circuit protection. Efficiency of 90% and higher allows the driver to operate at low temperatures.

The super compact aluminum case is lighter and smaller, so much easier to install. The lighter weight reduces your shipping cost as well. IP67 rated, the new driver withstands wet and even salty conditions. That makes it perfect for LED landscape lighting projects and just fine for use on docks and even watercraft.

At this time the new driver is available only in 60 watt capacity, 12VDC. We soon will have 60W, 75W and 96W drivers in 24VDC.

Note please that the version we stock is the higher grade UL listed model. There is a less expensive UL recognized (RU) version available. We'll be glad to special order those for you if you wish. However, given the fact that this driver is meant to withstand wet conditions, we believe you should have the protection and confidence you need with the UL listed product.
