Ho, ho, ho ... tis the season to be ... SAFE! Crowds, combined with sometimes inclement weather this time of year increase the need to direct and control traffic.

LED traffic batons come in two sizes. The smaller one is 13" long overall. It's the perfect size for student traffic patrols. It's also a favorite of traffic officers who need to wear a baton on their belt or officers who frequently enter and exit a vehicle. The smaller length makes it an uncumbered activity. The larger one is 21" long. It's bright and attention getting.

What about color? The most popular color is red. Red means stop, and when you see a flashing red light, you pay attention. The amber baton has a yellow lens color, but the LEDs inside are amber. The yellow lens helps to enhance the amber. Yellow/amber means caution. You may not want to stop traffic, but to keep it moving carefully and slowly. The blue LED traffic baton has a white lens. The LEDs inside are blue. Check with your local police department before purchasing blue LED batons as in some communities, blue flashing lights are restricted for police use only. And last but not least, we offer a LED traffic baton in a red/green combination. With a flick of a switch, you can change the light color from red to green when you want traffic to either stop or move on.

The LED traffic batons operate on inexpensive alkaline batteries. You can expect up to 200 hours use on a set of fresh batteries. That translates to 50 days at 4 hours a day.
