For added convenience, you can easily link strips together with our modular link cords. No tedious wiring. It's as simple as inserting a link cord with a corresponding plug into the next bar in the chain. That's what 'linkable' means. For example, you could install one 12" strip, one 18" strip, and one 24" strip and terminate in just one plug into an outlet.
OK, you say, I like this idea. But do I really have to go to each strip and use the touch control button to turn each one on or off? Nope :-) Included with these 120 VAC LED lights is a 'master'. Turn all of them on or off at once if you wish. Or ... use the touch control to turn on only one or two. It's all up to you. That's what we call our new under cabinet LED light bars "homeowner friendly". In spite of the fact that LED lights consume just a fraction of the wattage of traditional light sources, why would you want to consume more power than you need to? Think of a long work table in the shop or craft area. You're working where you are working, so why turn on the lights along the entire length? Or, leave just one strip on in the kitchen for example, to serve as a night light. Save more in power consumption by using just the light you need, where and when you need it.
What about color temperature and lumen output? Color temperature is a mid-range 4100K Cool White which is considered 'neutral". It's neither too stark nor too warm. Light output in lumens is quite impressive. From a 12" under cabinet LED light bar you can expect about 800 lumens, comparable to a 60w incandescent light source. The 18" provides 1400 lumens and the 24" provides 1850 lumens.
Cold is not an issue. Minimum starting temperature is -4 degrees F. Will your lights turn on without flicker or stuttering? Absolutely. Our 120VAC linkable LED touch control strips are instant on in frightfully frigid temperatures.
As always, we offer other options. If you don't want to see a plug, consider our 120VAC linkable LED cabinet lights which are able to be installed to a junction box. These LED cabinet lights are also linkable and come in lengths from 9" up to 45" long. Dimmable with a standard household dimmer, these under cabinet LED light bars also give you other color choices.
Keeping our fingers on the pulse of everything new in the LED world, we remain thankful for your business and look forward to serving you.
