UV LED Flashlights

The light we see from the sun during the day has a longer wavelength and is therefore more visible than ultraviolet light, which has a shorter wavelength. Ultraviolet light produces minimal visible light rays which range from deep blue to purple in color. UV light is most visible at night or when other light sources are blocked.

A UV LED flashlight emits long wave ultraviolet light at a vast wavelength . Some of these are powerful enough to make gems and minerals fluoresce even in normal room lighting. It quickly changes the color of the UV detecting beads . A UV LED flashlight reveals special fluorescent markings on US paper currency , markings on credit cards and security features of driver's licenses. Contractors find these useful for insuring that PVC pipe has been sealed properly. The use a specialized tracer glue for that purpose.

The LED Ultraviolet Pocket Flashlight is a multi-task light capable of easily spotting various evidence and other objects which cannot be seen while using a standard bright, white light that LEDs give off. Military professionals and police authorities report that the ultraviolet flashlight is a critical tool for investigating crime scenes and bringing criminals to justice.

    Uses -

    1) A police flashlight with ultraviolet light technology is useful in detecting blood evidence, fibers, minerals and other evidence that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

    2) An ultraviolet flashlight can be used to detect counterfeit currency. Innocent people can avoid being victimized.

    3) In the military the versatility of LED and ultraviolet flashlights has been found to be helpful in their fight against terrorism as well as in certain kinds of covert military operations. The ultraviolet flashlight plays an important role in military maneuvers, surveillance, detection, and in a variety of other military activities.

Human beings see a very narrow window of the electromagnetic spectrum. We are unable to see X-rays, gamma rays or microwaves. We can easily see the colors of the rainbow from red to violet, but there is something beyond red (infrared) and there is something beyond the violet (ultraviolet). With an electronic aid or electronic equipment , we can see ultraviolet light and we also have the various electronic devices to generate black light--including ultraviolet flashlights.

More uses of UV LED Flashlights :

Night club hand stamp screening, fabric and textile work, fluorescent dye leaks ,forgery detection, A/C refrigeration leak detection, adhesive curing, antique inspection, art forgery/repair tests , glass repair inspection, human bodily fluid tracing ,hunting/animal blood, ID and document verification to avoid bluffing, mineral identification, pet and pest stains, reading invisible fluorescent inks, scorpion hunting. finding certain rocks and detecting counterfeit bills.
